Hi, My K3565 dongle will connect (ie you can see data download stats & green light) but when I try to web browse I get the dreaded 'website not found' error, so no viewing of websites! This Modem isn't mentioned in the Sticky at the top of the forum, how do I resolve this problem please!

Sounds like a DNS problem - you put in an address but the system can't resolve it into an IP address and find the server. Suffered from this most of last week in Durham with an E220 modem. The solution was on this forum - but I couldn't get to this forum to see it! Ended up using a '3' dongle instead!

Hello everyone

This is potentially a network issue, although at this stage I’m simply trying to trouble shoot and rule out some possibilities.

As long as we can verify that this is not associated with specific browsers, as such please can you provide the following information?

1. What browsers are you using

2. Are you able to 'ping' any IP addresses, do as follows:
Start
Accessories
Command Prompt
enter the following: ping www.vodafone.co.uk
(it would help if you can copy and paste the results here)

3. What operating systems re you running (XP, Vista etc)

I can look at this information and look to see whether this is similar to pas issues, looking forward to your responses.

Thanks

Hi smudger552,

Thanks for the information, I will pass this onto Reidar for you. If there is anyway you can do the ping test, that will really help. ;)

All the best,

Kay
