1) Does the issue happen in just one location? Yes, fine as soon as I drive away from street.

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? In profile

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone? Yes

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs? No 2G, 3G or 4G signal. When I do have one, it's extremely weak.

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all? All

6) When did you first notice this issue? When I first joined Vodafone in April

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs? Intermittent but more often than not.

@shuv_3 - I’ve checked the coverage in your area and you should get 2G, however 3G and 4G are patchy and mostly available outdoors.

Your local sites are currently performing fine.

Please try changing your phone’s network settings to 2G only, as this should help with the 2G connection you get.

As this is due to general coverage and not a fault, you could buy a Sure Signal to use at home as this would provide you with 3G.

Where does it say coverage in my area is patchy??? I checked the map before joining Vodafone - I pay for a full service and I'm not receiving it????

@shuv_3 – Coverage maps are a computer generated prediction - you can only be 100% sure how your phone will work at home, once you’re physically using it.

Using your full postcode, I’ve been able to check your local area, including site coverage and performance.

2G is has the best coverage at that location, so changing your network settings to 2G only should improve things for calls and texts.

So how am I supposed to use the internet in my own home? What am I paying for?

@shuv_3 - You’ll be able to connect to 3G and 4G in some places, it’s just patchy coverage.

As above, if you’re having difficulty with calls and texts, changing to 2G only should help with this.

Your line rental is for use of Vodafone network and isn’t specific to 3G or 4G.
