my phone will not send or receive media messages the settings are set-up correctly, followed on-line instructions, even went into vodafone shop, they checked settings, still will not send or receive messages

Have you been able to send/receive media messages from a different phone, using your present account? If you haven't done so in the past, it could be that this capability isn't enabled on your account - it would be worth calling CS on 191, or using Live Chat, to check whether any settings on your account needs to be changed.
