Marshmallow OTA update for Vodafone Smart Ultra Six failed

I tried updating it using OTA several times.  The update of 818.70MB downloads and allows an install .

Boots into recovery menu, with the following error message:

"/system/partner-app/Editors Slides/Editors Slides.apk"  has unexpected contents.

E:Abnormal exit, path: @/cache/recovery/block.map, status: 7

Installation aborted

I have factory reset my phone multiple times, wiped the cache but has not made any difference

Can anyone help? 

Has anyone had a similar problem, and knows about a solution?

Hi,

Do you have ample onboard memory to complete the update. 

Close everything down including suspended apps. 

Are you on EE ? I ask because of your screenshot

The specs are the same as regular Vodafone SU6 devices, and the phone is on Virgin Mobile.

Although I'm not sure if it would make a difference but I'd be tempted to insert an active Vodafone U.K. Sim Card and try again. 

Hopefully something isnt corrupted in the current phones firmware somehow stopping the update.
