Marshmallow released for Samsung S5

Marshmallow has been released for the Samsung S5. Anyone taken the plunge yet?

My partner has updated it earlier today and so far hasn't had any issues.

Yes I've installed it too. Apart from new shape icons, don't really notice anything different.

I put it on last night, all working well. Phone is more snappy, but that's often the case at first.

Noticed a few different animations, such as the boot up and when the screen turns off. Additional security when booting, extra emoji's and did I mention it was more snappy 😂

I installed it and now my quick panel/settings (where you turn wifi, data on/off) have disappeared.

I have done a search and other people have experienced the issue however there doesn't seem to be a solution.

Can anyone from Vodafone help?

Also everytime I restart my phone I get a notification saying I have an SD card which isn't a problem, just a bit annoying.

If you mean the pull down one finger or two finger mine is working so I can't help.

I also get the sd card on restart, but mostly I leave my phone on all the time so isn't an issue just to swipe the notification away

My pull down is still there too. However one thing I have noticed is that all my notification sounds are the samesame. For example my football notification is the same as my messaging. I thought they used to be different? May be it's me?

Just wondering as I never updated to Lollipop, will I be offered Marshmallow as an upgrade? Or will I have to upgrade to Lollipop first and then upgrade again to Marshmallow?

I've checked for updates today and it is still showing Lollipop.

Any help appreciated.
