Message when turning on phone

Hi I've the s6 edge now for a while. Every time I switch the phone on I'm getting a message "Texting just got better "
It asks for your number ...I have done this many times also have not entered any number, I'm still getting the "Texting just got better "message
How do I get rid of it
I have a sceenshot but unable to post it. Please help

Hi there

It sounds like you have Message plus on your phone. You can disable it if you want by going into the message settings

Message + comes integrated into the handsets that Vodafone have been supplying for close on a year or so.   You no longer have to download a seperate app.

 

Did you get your phone from Vodafone?  If so, there is a high likelihood that it is installed.

will look at seetings to disable

 

On the S5, you can disable Message + / RCS, as it is also called by, going into the messages app, select Settings > Default Messaging App > Rich Communications and make sure it is unticked.

 

I don't know if it will be similar on the S6.
