Why can I not receive picture messages, either directly or when I tap the link in the message it takes me to an error page on the Vodafone website! I have tried calling but you don't recognise my number (removed for security) and I have worked through your settings instructions for the iPhone 6 and I seem set up properly. It would really helpful if I could just speak to someone. This has used up about 30 mins of my time and I've still no idea how to sort out the problem. Maria.

Hi

Check your settings again using the info in http://support.vodafone.co.uk/Calls-texts-and-voicemail/Voicemail/50540599/I-can-t-switch-my-voicema... by typing in MMS in the ask a question field.

Also help in here http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/vodafone-apn-settings

You may need to speak to customer service or live chat via the Contract Us link at the foot of the forum to have your account provisioned for MMS.

Be aware MMS is not part of your minutes allowance and is charged for.

Also your mobile data needs to be turned on in the phones settings. If you don't have a data allowance with Vodaphone then this would cost you to turn on.

MMS is also restricted to the size of the file you can send which is around 300kb. It is free to send these types of messages via email and you can send bigger files.

Other options such as viber , whasapp , bbm are alternatives if the other person(s) have these downloaded too.

Hope that helps.
