Mms service has never worked

I'm unable to receive mms on either of my lines on my account. Gives me the option to download but the picture never actually downloads. I've used your website to send myself the settings but I only receive a 'browser' setting, I'm sure in the past I've received one for browsing and one for mms. I've seen similar posts where it suggests a problem with a recent update and to go back to factory settings but I can't see this being the problem as I've NEVER been able to receive or send mms. I have done factory settings on my second line but this hasn't helped.

If this is on the S4, I'd recommend doing a factory reset as that Is supposed to sort out any issues with the latest update... If it is still not working , call customer services on 191 and get them to check to see if MMS is provisioned on the account.

Thanks for reply. I've tried factory reset previously (had handsets/S4s around 18 months) but this didn't solve the issue. Popped in shop today who said its probably my settings, hence me going on website and sending myself the settings. 191 is really busy, as is the online chat service so thought I'd try getting help through here! I don't use mms often hence me putting up with not being able use it for 18 months, but received a couple recently on both lines and it's one of those things that starts to annoy you!

Hmmm.  It's worth trying setting, obviously, but it's also possible that MMS isn't provisioned on your account - it tends to be off by default.   Live Chat should be able to get it turned on for you.

 

Edited to add: LC always comes up as busy at first, but should connect withing a minute or so.   If it doesn't, leave the window open and check back periodically.
