Mobile Broadband - Have to activate the sim everytime

Hi everyone,

Does any one else have the same problem?

If I dont use my mobile broadband for a week or so I have to take the sim out of the netbook and put it a mobile phone to reactivate it. I dont use the usb dongle as my netbook has a sim slot in it but I dont think that this would cause a problem.

This is a strange one. It sounds like it may be a problem with the built in modem on your netbook or with your SIM. This is happening because your SIM card is not keeping its connection to the network up to date as it should be. The easiest way to determine where the problem lies would be to use the SIM card with the dongle over the next few weeks. If the problem continues there is a fault with the SIM and it would need to be replaced. If the problem stops it would indicate an issue with the netbook. Could you give this a try and let us know how you get on?
