There are a couple of different things that can cause this error.
The first thing to try, is to make sure you're running the very latest version of
Vodafone Mobile Connect. Click the link to download
If that doesn't fix the issue, you may need to update your version of the .NET Framework, which has also been known to cause problems.
1. Uninstall all version of .net framework using
.Net framework cleanup tool
2.
Install.net framework 2 SP1 or .net framework 3.5 SP1
3. Reboot and retest
