Moved Into A Non 3g Area

Hi Vodafone,

I have 2 mobile broadband contracts with you only pay monthly contracts.

I have just moved into an non 3g area, postcode BN44 3GP and I can no longer connect to either of my dongals.

I pay you £35 per month for one contract and £15 per for the other contract.

I am now effectively paying you £50 per month for a service that you cannot provide me.

Where do I stand and what options do I have ?

Kindest Regards

Mark

Hi Wizzyfax

Good Question :D

First welcome to the Vodafone eForum, you're part of the family now.

The agreement you have entered into still stands and both contracts will continue to run at the prices you signed up for. Something like moving house is your decision and something that is not in our control.

However you will still also be able to connect through GPRS and this is connecting to our network as we don’t guarantee a 3G signal for any customer.

Thanks

Hi Matthew,

I heard somewhere that there is a special 3g booster that you offer, is this something that would be available to me and how much would it help ?

try this link or do a search for Vodafone Sure Signal on the web site

http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Port...pageID=PPP_0061

however you will need a fixed line broardband connection,

Hello Wizzyfax

As pointed out by Pompey9819 (thanks Pompey) we offer a service called the Vodafone Sure Signal, more information can be located at www.vodafone.co.uk/gateway.

The Gateway basically converts your broadband signal into a 3G one, your USB modems would then be able to use this. It stands to reason, however, that if you're going to install a fixed line broadband connection that in itsself would provide your internet connection.

Either way have a look at the included link and get back to us with any further questions.

Thanks
