Hi Afrolux

A big warm welcome from all of us here at the eForum, it's always a pleasure to have new faces around! :D

As you're using a Mac, your modem doesn't use the Vodafone Mobile Connect software in the same way as Windows machines, so you don't have the same SMS inbox feature available. :(

You can still put the SIM card from your modem into a handset to send and receive text messages, you should be able to request the online security code for My Account again once you're ready to get it all activated! :)

Let us know how you get on,

Cheers, Helen

Hi again H
Got the things finally running also i had that security code up from the online help i could only read it out by downloading a vmc software for mac .
they still can't give me a usage idea and i have set up an online account for them to send me my bill online .
But i really need to know how to stop my usage going over the 3Gb allowance.
Just imagine if i loose my key i can run a huge bill.
I happen to have been victim of 3g and virgin network before .They never warned me over my excess usage and it did go into the hundreds of pounds,
So one can guess where i am coming from.
I just need to know how much i have used and how much is left. Very basic need and a consumer right i believe.
This is recession times we all want security .
Thank for your time guys
