Recently for some unknown reason when I've put my headphones in galaxy note4 and access the music player the volume manages to turn itself up and down without me touching the volume button

Not Sure why this would be happening and am not aware of any particular settings that could cause this. 

Perhaps close the app down clearing any cache / data if applicable. 

Id also try an alternative music app to see how that fairs.

I'd also be inclined to try a different set of headphones, just in case it's a plug/cable issue.
