My Vodafone on S7

Ever sine having my S7 from Tuesday 8th March I have been unable to use the "my vodafone" app. When I start the app it says "sorry we are having a few technical difficulties".

I was wondering if anybody else is having the same issues. I don't if it a issue at vodafones end or a bug with the galaxy s7 and the vodafone app.

Works fine for me (S7 edge)

Try clearing the cache or uninstalling and reinstalling

Hi

sometimes with an upgrade or new contract it can take upto the first bill to be generated for the app to work properly.

How's your online Myvodafone behaving.

Some help for managing your account in Managing Account.

Nice phone by the way. May I ask how are you finding it ?

Upgraded to s7 so that could be it. I can login online but when I go to billing it shows an error and will not load the page. I called to ask about my new bill due to an upgrade and also the £29 upfront cost for the phone. They said I am in credit so won't get billed this month and the new tariff and upfront cost will start from the month after(next month). So I am assuming once the new tarrif start being billed properly it should all work.

I came from an s5 still on kitkit as I preferred the black menus ect ect. While the phone essentially works the same way the move to marshmallow is very nice and it feels different I like the white colours now and actually prefer it. It feels fresh if that makes sense. Battery is great on par with s5 if not a tad bit better. Great camera. Very fast and responsive absolutely no lag at all. Great screen as always with the galaxy line. Loving the fast charge. Really like the feel but I'm not looking forward to the possibility of cracking it. I replaced my front screen on my s5 which was fairly easy. After looking on line at the s7 break down no chance of me doing it myself it's not worth the risk of potentially damaging other components. Also it's slightly smaller in size then the s5 but it make a huge difference.

Great upgrade, great phone I would recommend hands down. Very happy. If you hadn't gathered that already. :Smiling:

Hi

From past posts on the Vodafone app you hopefully should find it working after the first bill.

Incidently I've just been reading about how Samsung have changed the way the internals are applied inside with glues etc so performing a repair of sorts can break other components.

Thankfully Sammy apply a 24 month warranty.

What do you think about the menu system accessed via swiping in from the edge? I like it.

The only critism is how I hold my phones and could find the power key in the way.

Anyway sorry for taking you a little off topic. I'm very interested in making this one of my next choices when I decide to move on from my iPhone 6 Plus.
