My phone repair

I have sent off my HTC One M8s to Vodafone for repair at the end of August. I have still not had my phone back?!

 

I have had 3 online chats initially with Vodafone, who have bascially lied to me! Each time i gave them a ref number etc, they said that the phone was being returned by courier - one time they even gave me a DPD courier ref to check on the progress. Unsurprisingly there was no such delivery with DPD. When I raised this with Vodafone they apologised and gave me £10 credit off my monthly bill. 

 

When I have called 191 I have got nowhere. One person tells me the phone is with a repair centre but I am not able to speak to them direct. One person told me it is with the HTC repair centre - I have checked with them and it is not there!?! I have been told by customer services that someone from the repair team/centre will email me or call me to advise on the status. Again this has not happened.

 

This is bascially a shambles. Bad customer service is sometimes understandable but being lied to as a loyal Vodafone customer since 2001 is just not on.

 

If someone has had the same sort of experience i would be interested to hear from you and how/if it got resolved.

 

If anyone from Vodafone reads this and is able to assist me that would be great.

The Tech Team may need you to confirm personal details such as your phone number, log in credentials and bank details, if you are happy to post them on a public form then by all means go ahead, there are plenty of people out there who will be happy to take advantage of them.

Hi RichB4,

 

I took my phone into the my local store on the 6th October to send off to repair a cracked screen, my phone was due to be delivered back to me today (18th) but it still hasnt arrived at the repair centre.

The store are telling me the repair centre have to investigate, the repair centre tell me the store has to investigate.

Seem to be going round in circles and no one can give me a striaghtforward answer.

Just want to know how long before they decide they will give me a new phone....

Same as me, going round in circles. Vodafone have been a complete joke throughout this. I am paying for a phone that i do not have and using a crap old Samsung Galaxy S4! 

Samsung is bettter than the crap they have given me, one of their own phones that cuts out on every call, turns its self off when it feels like it....

 

I will certianly be cancelling my Vodafone Insurance once this is resolved. Vodafone have been absolutely useless.

Have been a Vodafone customer for nearly 15 years. My contract expires in May next year I think I will have a look elsewhere!
