Nano sim still inactive

I got my last sim activated 3 days ago ins vidafone shop which after 48 hours still wasnt working. I returned yesterday and they have given me anew sim and supposedly activate it but almost 20 hours later is still it working and I need my phone for work!! Usually a sim activates within an hour!?! What is going wrong with mine?!! Very frustrating!
