Hello, unfortunately I have had an outstanding payment to vodafone for some time now. I recently have paid off and settled the account. I have recently applied for creddit and my old vodafone account has come back as a negative, but the lenders are willing to look past this - so long as I have proof that it actually has been paid off. I spooke to you over the phone, but to no avail. You said you where unable to send any form of written comunication other than over SMS. I need written conformation either as a letter or an email. Can you offer me any help, thanks.
Regards,

If you have a marker on your credit file then it’s status would change from Outstanding to Settled once paid.
Updating the Credit File normally takes up to 30 working days but can happen quicker.
Unfortunately there is no way to hasten the process up as Vodafone do not have control over the database that is accessed by the credit file agencies.

I understand that.. The lender is willing to 'overlook' it, so long as they have written proof from vodafone that the bill has been paid.

Are you still with Vodafone? Then you can download your bills, which will show details of any outstanding amount.
And if you are not, then your Final Bill showing Zero Balance should proof that account has no outstabding amount.

@Koios - One of the credit specialists in my team can take a look at your account and make sure your file has been updated correctly.
