Network Issue HG2 Harrogate

My contract recently expired and I moved to a SIM-only contract on April 1st; however, for a few weeks now my phone has been continually searching for network and I cannot make or receive calls and I have not received some text messages.

1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service? This issue happens all over Harrogate.

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs?

HG2 0HG.

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?

I don't have another phone so can't try the SIM.

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs? No network connection. Can't make calls or receive them.

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all? All.

6) When did you first notice this issue? 3 days ago.

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? Permanent

Hi,

Going from your postcode in the Link > Vodafone Network Checker.

"We've fixed an issue in this area recently. Sorry if you noticed any disruption - things should have been back to normal since 8.37am 31 Mar 2017"

It can occasionally take a few days extra for masts to fully settle.

The Checker also indicates the area as fringe coverage. Sometimes turning off 4G and 3G in the phones settings to force 2G can help stabilise calls.

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

Thanks for your reply. The problem I am having is still causing issues. I'm not sure what the problem is but I'm wondering if my SIM has not been activated properly since my contract was changed on Saturday. Do I need to provide any further details in order for this to be investigate further? Thanks.

@JamesW31 I've checked the local sites in your area and can see no current issues which would be affecting your coverage.

For our team to look into your account you'd need to contact us, please follow the steps in the private message I've sent.
