New customer.

I ordered a phone online as a new customer on the 28th March and i'm still waiting for it to be delivered. I have had different excuses from different C.S.A's ranging from still pending to queued awaiting dispatch. How long diesbit normally take. I'm currently with o2 and i received my phone from them on next day delivery.
Is this a sign if things to come from Vodafone?

The information on stock is available from the website. 

 

Stock of the 32GB seems limited on all networks with stock available on the higher capacity variants.

 

If you contact Vodafone using live chat, they will be in a better position to know exactly when stock will be due.

Have just contacted them . No mention of back orders.
They surprisingly told me my phone was waiting collection from instore though. No email confirmation. Although they insisted they sent it.

Did you perhaps choose Click and Collect which is to order online and then go and Collect from your store of choice once advised it's ready ?

Hi Colleen.
Seems you have a webchat team that have no idea what theyre talking about.
After my wife jumping on a bus to get to the store there was no phone there for me. It hasn't been dispatched from your warehouse yet. So a wasted journey.
A further call to Vodafone left me dejected and somewhat annoyed.
The CSA could see on the screen could see i had been given duff info. He has however phoned the warehouse and guaranteed a delivery to the store before the end of the week for me. I wait with baited breath.
A £53.00 reduction on my 1st bill as a goodwill gesture goes someway to rectify a shabby start for a new customer.

Having only just moved into a new home last weekend my address didn't match my credit cards ect so therefore click and collect was the only option online ordering would allow.

The "Your phone is in store awaiting collection" line has been reported in this forumh a number of times.   Other customers please note - if you haven't selected in-store collection in the first place, do not accept this as an answer to the question of why your phone hasn't arrived.

You're definitely sound like you have more tolerance than most would in this situation. I'm astounded at what a poor experience you're having at the acquisiton stage. I'd at least expect a company to get you signed up, locked in and past the 14 day cancellation period before they start with poor customer service.

 

I hope they make good on their promises though.

Just a little note to say the Vodafone Network Satisfaction Guarantee provides 30 days Cooling Off Period.

I too hope Vodafone take ownership and resolve this so cancelling is not required. 

 

The Tech Team here maybe able to intervene.
