yup bout the 5th time i've posted about this..........no 3G+ at G3 8SB

came back on for about a week now just 3G signal but with poor speeds like gprs type speeds i'd post a speed test result but i can't even get one to complete

dongle works fine @ other locations with over 2Mbps speeds

so bottom line going to sort this out for once? i'm fed up paying £15 a month for dial-up type speeds where i need to use my dongle the most.

i don't want an e-mail with the normal garbage of more details of my account yadda yadda
it's clearly a network issue as i have 3 bars signal and no reason not to be getting 3G+

i won't be replying to this thread or e-mails just fix it please

Dont you think you are been a tad unfair.Vodafone surely cannot be blamed for slow speeds when you are getting good speeds else where, thats just the nature of mobile broadband, you cant get a 3g signal everywhere (YET)

Hi chibsatron,

I can see that there does appear to be a 3G outage with your nearest sites - namely 1708 and 72802.

Unfortunately we're no longer able to raise faults without customer details to attach them to, so I would indeed need you to fill out another email template unfortunately.

I've sent one to you - please also provide the following information in your email, as well as the account details, and this will ensure that we can raise the fault as quickly as possible.

Alternate contact number:
Make / model of modem:
Is the fault permanent or intermittent?:
If Intermittent, how often does it fail?:
What area is affected?:
Your full address including postcode, where the issue occurs:
Does the problem occur on 2G as well as 3G?:
What websites have you attempted to access?:
What is your IP address during testing?:
Has the service ever worked?:

If you can include this in your email reply, we'll be able to raise it directly to our network team without any further delay.

done sent info as requested

No 3G+ service at all. Standard 3G light is lit but speed is more like gprs, when idle connection the light blue light comes on like it's trying to connect to 3G+ but when you use the connection flicks back. Same as the last 2 times there was a fault sort it out please

really not a happy vodafone customer anymore. Really regret taking out this contract complete joke i've had about 3 months problem free usage from 7 is that good enough?

Hi chibsatron

I'm sorry you feel this way and I'm sure we can get this sorted for you as soon as possible.

I know how annoying this must be for you but sometimes faults do occur. You are still able to use 2G on this so at least you haven't lost service all together.

Like I said we'll get this sent off for you and get this investigated so it can be resolved as soon as possible. Then you'll be back to 3G browsing in no time :)

Thanks

Wayne

Hi Chibsatron

I've checked our coverage system, and it appears all systems are go

This, and you ought to have enough overlapping coverage.

Could it be your actual place of work - as in the building itself? We have so many reports of customers in central London who lose 3G or 3G+, and the actual cause of this problem were high-frequency machinery or electronics installed in buildings or nearby that disrupt the higher HSDPA signal - one guy lost 3G once a new air conditioning unit was installed next to him!

Remember that signal is signal - it'll decay and get absorbed by your microenvironment.

Can you let us know what the signal is like outside of your home/work? If it improves suddenly, there's nothing that we can do other than advise you to investigate what happening inside the building.
