No 3g In Windsor Still!

I have recently bought a 3g mobile broadband modem, i had 3g+ connection for the 1st 10 days or so but since the middle of last week i have only been able to get a gprs signal.
admittedly the 3g+ signal was never very strong. i went into a vodafone store yesterday and they informed me that the 3g was disabled in my area.
does anyone know how long it will be down for as gprs is very slow.

guys i think its gone again???

havent been able to get anything other than gprs for last two nights,

i only logged on for a short time last night so thought it was just temporary but ive been on for an hour or so now and the light is still green.

hi ya wayne,

well this is the third night in a row where i cant get anything better than a gprs signal,

I got 3g+ for one night it was a weak signal as it always has been but it was there.

As i have said, my postcode is sl4 5ls i live in a bungalow, i have the dongle up away from all other electricals,

it just came back on for a couple of mins,

then cut me off completely and now were back on gprs again.

Hi coco,

I've just checked the fault reference James quoted previously and can confirm that it is still open.

The latest news we have is that our engineers are still awaiting on a date and time on which they can access the site.

While I appreciate that this doesn't fix things for you I can assure that everything possible is being done to get this fixed as quickly as possible.

well to be honest my credit is nearly out and I have no intention of topping up again.

I am going to try another provider.

this service is beyound a joke.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to recieve 3G signal. If you pop the full postcode of the Campus we'll be able to check to see what the signal is like in that area and to see if there is any planned improvements in store :)

Well your coverage map says there's supposed to be 3g, but there never is. Now inside I could understand it, but outside sitting in the park I would have expected it!
