I pre-ordered my S7 on the 4th March and was advised that I would receive both the phone and headset at the same time on the 8th March.
The phone came on the 8th but no headset. I rang Voda and they told me that the packages get shipped separately. Not happy with that and knowing that that was a complete lie, I connected to live chat with some bod in India, most likely, and he told me to go to my nearest Vodaphone store and pay for the headset and that Voda would credit my account. My response was too sharp tounged and long to reitterate here but needless to say, I am once again disgusted at the lack of after sales customer care and consider them to be worse than any car dealer I have ever been to.
Why oh why did I even bother to upgrade...will likey send back phone within 14 day cool off and change network provider should I not receive the Gear VR by tomorrow and should some other [Removed in line with Community House Rules] up, which likely will ocurr, does ocurr.
No courtesy email or text and nothing to say "sorry we messed up, here is a goodwill gesture from us at Voda to show our apprecaition for your loyalty over the past 10 years, please accept our apologies"
Broken seals, broken promises and quite frankly just a broken network. Still the CEO is probably driving around in his 16 plate Aston so it's all rosey for them.
Pathetic!

I've had no update regarding my missing VR since I was told by store staff that it could be up to a week later than the phone arriving. Any updates on when we're likely to see these arriving?

Got a text just now -
"We'll deliver order number such and such. If its a device , dpd will be in touch, if its an accessory, router or sim, itll come by royal mail. Youll get a separate confirmation if your item hasnt launched yet or is out of stock"
Good to see you have covered all basis then Vodafone, some manager bod in consumer relations come with that message. Just plain awful, really really awful organisation. Have a right mind to contact ofcom.

Funny that Columbo so are mine.
As said above, i wouldn't mind the ##~## up in all honesty if there had been decent communication & most of all the truth that Vodafone got it wrong and they are doing their level best to fix it which clearly they aren't at the moment.

I have had confirmation from "Sales" that there are no more Gear VR's in Vodafone stock.
Their proposal is a credit of £80 to my account and for me to buy one elsewhere. SERVICE??
So I "debated" this with Sales and they increased the offer marginally and I have now ordered one directly from Samsung. You would think that Vodafone could have done that for us, wouldn't you?
Exasperated....
