Hi pedarson,

Thanks for your posts.

I can see that your Sure Signal made contact with our servers at 3:22 this morning.

Do you see this when you look at it?

  • Lights one, two and four are solid, indicating that the Sure Signal is connected and is giving a 3G signal.

I'd be grateful if you could check through this troubleshooting guide.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks

Ian

Lights 1 &2 solid, 4 is flashing and no 3G Signal

Done everything on the troubleshooting guide - several times

As I type, now only light 1 is solid and all others lights out

Hi pedarson,

Give the Sure Signal a factory reset to resync with our servers.

  • Unplug the ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • Plug the cable back in
  • Allow around one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online.

Dave

Did the reset at 16:30 yesterday

Today Lights 1 & 2 Solid  - No 3G Signal.:smileyfrustrated:

Hi pedarson,

The Sure Signal connected with the servers overnight, and the latest light sequence shows it's connected but unable to provide a service.

I'm unable to see from here which version of the firmware your box is running, so I'm going to get that checked and any update pushed through if needed. Leave the box connected for the next 24 hours so this can be done.

Dave

Hi pedarson,

The technical guys have checked and you're running the latest firmware.

Again, the Sure Signal connected last night. Are you getting service now?

If not, has the light sequence changed at all?

Dave

Lights 1&2 solid, No 3G Signal

Hi pedarson,

Are you using two Sure Signals close to each other?

Looking at the registration I can see that you have two registered which could be causing a problem if they are very close?

If you do have them both running, can you switch the other one off to see if it makes any difference?

James
