I have bought a Samsung S7 Edge from Vodafone and I cannot get wifi calling at all. I have been into the vodafone store and chat and it is enabled but no joy so far. Finally got a reply stating that there is an issue with this for S7 and no idea when it will be fixed. This is not good when you are not in a good signal area

Thank you. This is the first trime that someone has said that which is what I thought it was. Do we have any idea as to when around the corner is? Next week, month as this is a big issue for myself and I am sure for other people who are not in a good signal area.
Thank You
Stephen

Hello
Yes I just got the updatge and lo and behold I NOW have the wifi calling!!! Great to have but a bit fruistrated that the vodafone website, store employees. chat and the IT tech team did not know anything about it.

I have the setting WIFI Calling in the phone (S7 Edge) settings and it is ticked, but have no wifi calling so far after a week chatting and calling CS.
I also have a iPhone 5c and 5S on EE and both without any settings changing just work.
With Samsung phones it feels like it's very hit and miss

Hi @devizes
Was the phone purchased directly from Vodafone and did Wifi calling work before the update?
Thanks,
Viki

Hi
No, the phone was not bought from Vodafone.
To my understanding the phone has to have the WIFI calling feature available to work, which mine has.
other non Vodafone handsets don't display the option to turn it in?
in fact before the recent network settings update is when this function started appearing, not before.
