Nokia Lumia 800 fails to register on sure signal?

Hi I upgraded one of my 4 Vodafone numbers to a Nokia Lumia 800 and the SIM was changed to micro sim but I cannot get it to register on my sure signal. I have removed and re-added the number on sure signal. It is over 24 hours since we did the upgrade. Sure signal accepted the number as it starts 07..........

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the additional information. Are you able to try the SIM in a different phone to see if it’ll then connect to the Sure Signal? If no, it would point to the SIM being at fault and your nearest Vodafone Store would be able to replace it free of charge.

If the SIM does connect in the other phone, it would indicate the handset itself may be at fault and you could send your phone for a Warranty Repair.

I am sorry but the reason the sim was changed is the Nokia Lumia uses a micro sim and we do not have any other phones that use this type. The other 3 numbers use normal SIM cards.

Will Vodafone lend me a phone to try this out??

Hi Richard,

I'm afraid we're unable to send you another phone out to try the Micro-SIM in. If you don't have a SIM adapter or access to any other device you can test the SIM in, the store will still be able to give you a replacement Micro-SIM to test and diagnose the issue for you.

Just to let you know the number we upgraded is now working on my sure signal box. It was not the phone or SIM card that have worked whenever we have been out of the house. It was to do with the fact we moved service provider when we upgraded.
