Not able to call or receive phone calls from a specific person

I’m having a problem with my iPhone7+. Everytime my brother calls me and i pick up “call lost” comes on my phone and it hangs up, and when I return his phone call it doesn’t ring on his side, only I can hear the ringing.... this has been going on for 7 days now. I’ve called Verizon they say there’s nothing going on on their end. Has anyone else had this problem? And how can it be fixed???

May I advise this is the Community Forum for Vodafone in the United Kingdom. 

I noticed you mentioned Verizon.  

As this is a specific number can you both check the blocking call feature in both your phones. 

If this is happening when your in a particular place then it could be mast issues or weak Network connection. Try turning off Lte,3G to force 2G to see if this helps to stabilise calls. 

Can both of you as a process of elimination try your SIM cards in alternative phones.
