Has anyone bought a Note 4 recently? I'm probaby going to upgrade to one at the weekend and note from the specs that it has Androit KitKat 4.4 as it's OS. I assume that there has been an update to Lolliop over the last year or so, so will I be able to upgrade to this OTA straightaway or will I have to wait for it to be "pushed" to the device? Using an S4 on Lollipop now I don't fancy going back to KitKat for any ength of time? Ta

When you order a device from Vodafone, whatever operating system the phone uses such as IOS, Android, Windows Etc, the latest compatible software will already be installed on to the device.

Meaning you wont need to pull the latest update across or wait for an update from Vodafone, it'll already be on the device.

If acquiring through Vodafone it will be branded so typically you'd have to wait until Vodafone pushed any available firmware update to your devices Software Update Settings.

Thanks, sorry I may have phrased my question poorly..... I know there has been an update to Lollipop to Vodafone Note 4's in the last few months. I was just wondering whether, when I open my new N4, I can "pull" the OTA update straightaway or whether VF have to realise that my phone is working and "push" the update to it and, if so, how long that will take.

To answer my own question and to assist anyone else who was wondering my sparkly new white N4 came with Lollipop 5.1.1. There was a minor 84MB update ready to be downloaded
