Hi Getafix
When I worked in the IT field, we had a phrase:
"If it works, don't muck with it!"
And that phrase pretty much applies in most situations. If there is a particular feature or service that the new firmware brings that you need / want, update. If there isn't and you are happy with your phone, don't much with it! :smileywink:

Hi @Getafix
It's always a good idea to keep on the latest updates in relation to Security patches / updates.
Other than that for me it boils down to available updates to features or new features that I may want or need.

@Getafix how do you know it's a Vodafone update?
I would have thought if you were on unbranded Samsung firmware it would be a Samsung update?

Well, I don't for sure.
However if I remove SIM and check for Upgrade, then there is None.
I was thinking of giving it try with O2 sim in the phone and see what happens.
That was the reason, I thought it might be Vodafone Related.

A short while ago HTC pushed out an update on behalf of Vodafone that installed some Vodafone apps on the phone, it didn't change it to a Vodafone branded device though and the app were removable. I wonder if Samsung are doing the same with the Note 4 just now...
@KD should be able to get that information 🙂

@Nabs If it was a Vodafone Note 4 then it will probably have some customisation or apps anyway so the update wouldn't change that.
If it's an unbranded phone then it would clearly state if it was an update offered by Vodafone and any apps should be removable as we saw with other devices earlier this year.
