Afternoon Voda Reps 

QQ Regarding Note 7 Queries etc. 

1. Swapouts - Naturally Voda are doing these. The official statement says To call after 19th Sept If you want to exchange for Note 7 device. Will it be a straight Swap For Swap with DPD (IE Their "Swapit" Facility) ??

Can these be done in store? The guys in Crawley said it could be done like for like. I'd just rather not be without my device for more than a couple of days if Im still paying for it.

2. What happens on Siebel in relation to tariffs and billing? Will these be exempt due to the issues? IE Old Tariff still rolling on? Etc

Because CR gave me £50 the Device only cost 9.99

Vodafone shower of crooks again. Just spoken to them now (ELR team)and they are no longer accepting returns or exchanges on the note 7. Gave me some bull about waiting Samsung's response.
Isn't this illegal what they are doing?

It sounds like they are giving you info that is about 24 hours old.  The current information is in the link below, and as you will see they are offering exchanges on the device:

@cara_B just been told options are return and roll back and then buy myself another phone or lock myself in for 24month contract on an old phone. Neither of these are acceptable to me,

Presumably the poor souls here that did receive a phone will have them collected via DPD?

That's who has delivered new handsets to me in the past.

Tried speaking to them again drey got through to someone else. MEGAN, total weapon. Told her about the Vodafone thread and the news. She just said someone should be in contact in 3-5 days. Useless!

Apparently yesterday they where able to arrange returns or exchanges but everything has been stopped today.

Vodafone are the biggest shower of ##~## I have ever come across. This entire experience, I have never hated a company more. The only thing that kept me bound to them was the 15% discount I got through work.

I'm going to get my PAC code, switch to EE and never ever come back to vodafone as Long as I live.
