OCD in overdrive!!! - gallery issue

Hi all,

I have just moved a load of images from phone memory over to memory card.

Now those images are all in random orders within their folders. 

How do i get them back in date order!?!?!?

Can you give this a try:

• From your home screen go to Apps
• My Files
• Images
• Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen
• Sort by
• Time

This should then put them in order for you.

Hi, i tried this already, and while it puts the pic in order in my files, it does not put the pics in order in my gallery.

I have however noticed that all the files appear to now have the same date (the date and time i switched them to memory card)

highly annoying.

Ah, of course.   The file time-stamp is the time the file was created.   Most digital cameras either use an ascending-number or a date-code method of file-naming.  Try changing to title as the sort; you may want to have it descending to get the most recent ones first.  It should continue to keep the order for newer files, too.
