If you have been looking for a VPN to use with your Android smartphone or tablet then today is your lucky day.
After launching on iOS and desktop in April, Opera’s free and unlimited VPN is now available on Android.
The app, dubbed Opera VPN for Android is available to download now from the Google Play Store.
Opera VPN enables you to connect to the internet safely from anywhere in The world but then lets you route traffic through the US, Canada, Singapore, Germany or The Netherlands, giving you not only a secure connection, but also the ability to access geo-restricted content from your smartphone or tablet.
Of course, there are plenty of VPN services available on Android already but what makes Opera VPN different is that it is completely free of charge.
“The Opera VPN app for Android sets itself apart from other VPNs by offering a completely free service – without a data limit, no log-in required, advanced Wi-Fi protection features and no need for a subscription,” said Chris Houston, who heads Opera’s VPN division.
Opera VPN couldn’t be any easier to use. Just download the app and follow the onscreen prompts and tapping on ‘connect’.
