Ordered Additional Line but no confirmation

Hi,

 

I order a 4th connection for my account (a iPhone 6) at 8.10am on Friday (12/09/14), I still have not had confirmation email or text, i have spoke to about 4 different people since then who have all given me a difference answer on when I will get my confirmation email/ text, some have said within an hour, then by the end of the day, then within 24 hours and now I am being told it could be monday or tuesday.

 

Since then I have upgraded another line on my account and recived the confirmation email/text straight away.

 

Has my order even gone through, and why can no one supply me with my web reference number to track my phone for the additional line.

 

I would appriciate it if somebody could please give me answer to what is going on, and why everybody from Vodafone gives me a different answer!

There is one of two reasons for this:

 

1. Like many of us who pre-ordered early whilst the order request exists it never confirms to become a full accepted order. As yet without any comment from Voda on this data loss the most reliable solution to date has been to simply re-order.

 

2. You are already at your number of pre-approved lines on your account and the order will have gone to credit referrals for further checks. This takes a little longer and the order will then either confirm or decline. It's easy enough to find out if this is the problem by phoning CS and asking for the number of pre-approved connections on your account. I think as a matter of policy 5 is typically the maximum for personal accounts although I've had six in the past.

I have a personal account with 4 lines already. I was told that I can have additional 3 lines making it 7 lines.
