PAYG 3G on ipad 2

Hi,

Got my ipad 2 yesterday and am trying to get on the 3g network.  I've got a vodafone PAYG SIM in the device but i can't seem to get online with it.  I've set the APN to SMART and the ipad have a good signal with the 3G indicator displaying.  When attempting to browse via safari i receive an error ' could not activate mobile data network'.

Aniy ideas?

I have tried all of the settings from above and not one of them works.  Does this mean changing to another provider if vodafone isn't doing the business?

If you post the full list of settings you are using someone here may be able to spot where they are wrong and advice you.

Im having same trouble as we speak im on payg got a£30 bundle works great on my samsung phone but as soon as it goes in this bloody ipad 2 no joy i setting you advised aint working on mine to

Mind already came up with these setting as standard which aint working for me to plus i dont wont to keep taking my voda sim out ov phone stick in ipad2 then switch back its a chore never been a fan ov ipad ever no i no why
