I have purchased a pay as you go phone for my daughter and activated the voucher £10 bundle yet her balance is still showing as 0, does it take a certain amount of time to show with it being a new phone?

Hi,

A top up can take a short while sometimes to update on the myvodafone.

But saying that if the Payg tariff is the Big Value Bundle then the top up credit is taken to pay for the allowances that last 30 days.

Which Payg Tariff is it on ?

Edit :

The freebie Tariff is slightly different as a person retains the top up credit.

The allowances again last for 30 days.

Payg Tariff information in > Vodafone bundles-and-sims/pay-as-you-go-plans.

You're welcome.

Then it's my belief the £10 will have been taken to pay for 30 days worth of allowances. They should show in your myvodafone online or myvodafone app. Sometimes they can take a little while to show.

A good link about getting started >

"There are lots of ways to check your balance:

Download the My Vodafone app to view and monitor your balance
Manage your account online with My Vodafone

On Pay as you go:

To see your balance on screen, call *#1345# free from your Vodafone Pay as you go mobile.

To see your remaining allowance, call 2345 free from your Vodafone Pay as you go mobile.

If you don’t have your mobile with you, call the Pay as you go credit line on 03333 048048 from any other mobile or landline (standard call charges apply)"
