Phone broken early upgrade

I am pay monthly samsung s6 but unfortunatly my phone is broken beyond repair and barely useable.

Im not due an upgrade untill march 2018 ( long time away) ive been with vodafone 7+ years. Is there anyway to get an earlier? Can i add any time left to a new contract?

If you are on an eligible tariff an option would be flexi -upgrade but this is going to mean having to pay an early upgrade charge.  There is further information for you below.

If you are not qualify for flexi-upgrade, your options are going to be limited to paying off the contract to leave you free to negotiate a new contract with a phone or purchasing the phone at your own expense.

If this was my situation I'd look to either....

• Sell the phone as a non working model and then buy one that's locked to Vodafone or unlocked to all networks. Vodafone sell some good deals on Payg or maybe look to Highstreet Stores such as CEX. 
• Look to family , friends or colleagues to see if they have either an unwanted upgrade or a phone that's sat in a drawer you could buy or borrow until your upgrade date is due. 

My personal view is why pay a Network a lump sum and not get that much in return for that lump sum.
