Picture messages no longer working

Hi,

I used to be able to send and receive picture messages without any problem and in the last month it seems to have stopped working for no reason. I did not change anything manually the only updates/changes are the ones I get through to my Samsung Galaxy S4.

Don't know if it is related but when i am not in my home connected to wifi my Internet services is sketchy at best, emails and facebook dont keep up to date and facebook tells me error loading newsfeed. Not all the time but more often than not.

I'm not a fan of the factory reset as a first resort, but I think this is the thing to try in this case.   If you sent the phone for repair, it would be part of the process, so you won't lose anything (as long as you've backed up your content first).   Samsung devices in particular tend to need a reset after an update, just to clear out any bits of the old code that are in the system cache.

Hi there

There is an issue with the latest update for the S4 that causes problems with data services.  The recommended fix is to perform a factory reset on the device as this will sort things out.  More information from Vodafone here
