Hello

I have an ADSL Broadband line that has an upload speed of 0.4mb and a download speed of 2mb. Because I want faster internet I have also installed Satellite Broadband. Unfortunately the latency of satellite does not allow VOIP and allow the Sure Signal to work so I have installed a ZyXEL SGG3300 to allow port forwarding of applications such as the Sure Signal. The Sure Signal works with a Netgear router when attached to the ADSL line. I have set up the port forwarding as per this article:

http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Steady-power-light-only/td-p/679063

Ports and Protocols:

  • 8 – TCP/UDP                 (All routers)
  • 50 – TCP/UDP               (All routers)
  • 123 – UDP                    (All routers)
  • 500 – UDP                    (All routers)
  • 4500 – UDP                   (All routers)

The Sure Signal has been reset and has a solid power light but both the Internet and Phone lights are blinking

The Sure Signal is a V2 serial number 40121445577 and my ISP for the ADSL line is Eclipse
