Just nipped out for a buttie and me SGS5 in my pocket started getting warm. So I noticed this the other day as well while I was at the same place. The GPS is turned off by default I only turn it on when I need to. but its obvious that the phone is doing someting as it gets so warm. I check I have got 3 bars displayed for the phone phone signal and an E for the data. So I figure it must be something trying use data so I turn off the mobile data. Next I receive a text message from somone which I figure is OK as I think sms uses the phone not data. So anyway I decide to forward on the text to my wife and the SGS5 tells me it cant because the data is turned off ?
So I am puzzled how come SMS is using data. And if it is using data how can I recieve when data is turned off. If it doesnt use data then how can I recieve SMS but not send SMS ?
I am sure that it must be down to a network issue as nothing else makes any sense.

Thanks Matt,
I did as suggested and after zooming out found that you were working between 7am 12 Aug 2014 and 10am 12 Aug 2014. Althought it was 12:50pm I am thinking that your work may have overrun some.
I go there pretty much every day for a buttie and so will see what happens later in the week and report back accordingly.
Regards
Steve
