Hi,
This situation isn't covered in the standard FAQ / troubleshooting thread but I've searched the topics and other's have had thsi issue and had it fixed by posting their details - so here goes.
I got the thing 3 months ago and I could never get it out of the config cycle. I phoned up and the dude sent me a load of instructions for port forwarding which didn't work. Since then I've been running upstairs with my phone as I can get signal on the top floor. Today I started to try and get it going again but I have both lights flashing all the time.
The model is Alcatel Lucent 9361 Home Cell V2-V
Part no - 3JR09110ABBA
Serial: 40120500968
MAC: 0C4C3904E83
My IP is: 82.42.154.236 but it's dyamic.
Thanks

Hi crump
Thanks for your post. I can see that your Sure Signal has been registered since March 2012 however it's never physically connected. I've resynced your device to see if this manages to kick the connection into force.
To complete the process please perform a factory reset on your device as follows:
If you're still encountering difficulties after the resync please let us know.
Thanks
Simon

Hi,
I have a sure signal2 and over the last couple of days it has stopped working properly. The power light is on but the other two lights are flashing. I have read the forums and tried resetting both yesterday and again earlier this evening with no luck. Some of the posts about checking ports, etc are beyond me. Can you help.

Hi borthwickaj,
This would suggest it's trying to authenticate with our servers.
I have done a resync for you so please do a reset to complete the process;
1 - Hold the reset button until all 4 lights are solid. Don't let go of the button until step 4
2 - Remove the power cable then the LAN cable
3 - Insert ONLY the power cable
4 - When the lights flash 1, 2, 3 then 4 release the reset button and wait for the unit to boot (5 minutes should do it).
5 - Insert the LAN cable and wait
Let us know how you get on,
Kay
