Hi,
I've had my Sure Signal for a few months - worked fine to start with but now power light is on and Internet light is flashing. I've phone Tech Support a few times but I don't get mobile signal at home (hence the need for VSS!) and I've got fed up of the strange looks I get standing outside my house in the rain trying to get this sorted, only for the call to drop before I get anywhere.
So Sky Broadband router. Worked fine, then cut in and out a few times before completely failing. I've done all the troubleshooting and done a hard reset. Resync done at your end already. Below is the information you're hopefully about to ask for:
Download speed: 7.15Mbps
Upload speed: 0.84Mbps
Ping: 45ms
IP: 94.12.213.105
IPv6: ::ffff:5e0c:d569 (if required)
Serial no: 40131552230

Hi altymike,
Your speed test, ping test and traceroute are fine.
Your IP address is on our whitelist, so no problems there either.
Can you check to make sure the following ports are open/forwarded on your router:-
Port Number
8 TCP UDP
50 TCP UDP
53 TCP UDP
67 UDP
68 UDP
123 UDP
500 UDP
1723 TCP UDP
4500 UDP
33434 - 33445 UDP
If this doesn’t help, try the unit on a different internet connection, such as that of a family member or neighbour, to see if it works there.
Let me know how you go on.
Cheers,
Andrew

Yes, all those ports are open and all the Passthrough settings are correct.
I've reset the box a number of times and i've also re-registered the box online - nothing seems to work. Just the solid red light and the white slow-flashing light.
Please could you re-synch your side as the box was working a few months back.
Thanks,
Mike

Sorry for jumping in here too, but I've been suffering the same symptoms as all the other users in this thread.
Namely:
Nothing has been changed at my end.
I've tried a hard reset (holding reset for 30 secs) but no change.
