R205 keeps losing 3g signal

I had a R201 dongle and had no issues with it and always had a excellent 3g signal something like 97% strength never lost the 3g signal unless there techical issues.

Since upgrading to the R205 dongle i am always losing the 3g signal and dropping on to edge and having to reboot the mifi to get the 3g signal back

Another thing when i do lose the 3g signal i check my phone that stil has it

Is there anything i can do to solve this or is it a store visit to get it replaced

Thanks for posting. If your Vodafone R205 unit keeps losing signal, it could be a hardware fault. There aren't any software updates available so I'd firstly try another SIM card in the device to see if the problem persists (or pop the SIM from the R205 into your phone if you can to see if the signal issue follows the SIM). 

If it's the unit that has the problem, you'll be able to arrange a warranty repair either in store or on the phone. You can find details here.
