RED LIGHT FLASHING FIRST AND THIRD LIGHTS SOLID ORANGE

I have purchased my THIRD Sure Signal (SS), after a number of years of successful service. In both cases the previous two SS broke down and were replaced FOC by yourselves.

The latest SS Serial No. 43172948564 has been successfully Registered by yourselves and confirmed via email on September 20th:
Your Vodafone Sure Signal is now registered and will be ready to use once the set up with your broadband is complete. To add new numbers to your Sure Signal go to vodafone.co.uk/myaccount

My ISP is BT, and the SS is connected via Ethernet to a BT Home Hub 5 Router to which the last SS was connected successfully before it broke down.

Smart Set Up is turned off.

After multiple attempts to connect to the Vodafone system I continually get a subset of lights indicating that it is unable to connect to the internet. There is no problem with my internet service, all other systems utilising it have no issues, the configuration of all the other systems has not changed and the previous SS, which has broken down, was connected to the Router with all the other systems successfully working together.

I have Reset my Router; the port used on the Router is first in line; I have tested the Ethernet connection to it using multiple cables and Reset the SS but still it will not connect, this is especially odd since the previous two Sure Signals connected first time and with the same Router configuration and other external systems in place.

My line speed ranges between 6.71 and 9.3 depending upon time of day

My IP Address is: 217.39.52.236

The Tracert test shows:

Apologies for the delay in reaching your post @chittoe.

I've now completed a resync of your Sure Signal - please allow six hours to pass before completing a reset.

Let us know how you get on after this time has passed.

Thanks Natasha, I appreciate your help but after 8 fruitless days of trying to get it to work, and bearing in mind this is my third SureSigmal, the previous two having broken down and become unrepairable by Vodafone, I have regrettably taken it back to the Vodafone store and got my money back. Seems a shame to have to go backwards but the reliability of these devices just doesn't seem to hack it. Nice idea but still not yet robust enough. David
