Red Bundle Pay Montly billing mess

I started a Red Bundle on the 3rd of november 2016 for £15 a month.
On the 3rd of december I didn't receive and bill (nor by email or post). So a few days later I went online and found out that £30 were due instead of £15. This was clearly a mistake considering also that no pdf could be downloaded of this wrong bill (getting the message "Sorry, we can't show you a PDF of this bill at the moment. Please try again later.").

 

I was expecting the £15 to be taken automatically from my bank account as clearly stated in the vodafone "terms and conditions", but this never happened. So I called them today to find out that the "terms and conditions" are wrong, and that the direct debit is optional and can be setup if the customer wants. So I enabled the direct debit for convenience.

 

So I had to pay £30 instead of £15 for november, and still waiting for the bill to come.

 

Does anyone had similar issues with their red bundle billing?

Hi. When you start a contract you pay your bill up to your due date then a month in advance so the first bill is always higher.

Still, it doesn't explain why I can't download a pdf of my bill... If I received the actual bill, that advanced payment part would have been clear... I guess.

you're welcome, do you have the my vodafone app on your phone ? try viewing your bill there if you have.
