After 2 weeks of lies half truths and incompancy still waiting for a returns bag to send back the second phone that was diliverd with the packaging open. After Vodafone could not guarantee that they could not send me a phone unopened siting quality control/system upgrade that they could not guarantee an unopened box as indicated by samsung I have decided to leave vodafone after 10 years + of being with yous for another network which look after their customers

Hi @ALANBAINBRIDGE1

This is not the first time Samsung have been opening boxes ahead of despatch.  There was an announcement a short time ago on the fourm.

If Samsung are at fault, it does not excuse Vodafone for not doing a quality check and make sure contents are correct and boxes sealed before despatch to customers.

Hopefully, you now have your returns bag.

It was vodafone who admitted to opening the boxes giving two different versions for this and that they could not guarantee delivering a box that would be unopened

One workaround would be to upgrade / open a new account in a Vodafone High street Store if convenient to get to and if the store has units in store.

Click and Collect maybe another option although the phones for this service are sent to the shops for the customer to collect so the seal maybe open.

I well understand you not wanting a phone that has a box with broken seal and I'd be the same.
