Router DSL Randomly Drops

Moved from Sky (Never any problems) to Vodafone broadband, since switching i have had random disconnects from the internet DSL related the wifi is still active and i can connect to the router. This has been happening since i switched, until now  i have put up with it but its starting to annoy me. Sunday it dropped about 6 times, yesterday twice and once already this morning.

 

I have the router plugged into the test port on the master BT socket.

 

Any ideas apart from switching back to Sky or trying BT ?

 

Router Firmware Version 5.4.8.1.271.1.59

This sounds very odd.

I am also having the exact same issue since moving from BT, and contacted Vodafone support countless times to no avail. Here's what's been done so far:

 

  • Rebooted the router several times.
  • Completely reset the router back to factory settings a few times.
  • BT engineer visited and determined the line to be absolutely fine.

The issue is completely random and has yet to occur since the outage experienced in my area on 02-11-2016. So it's just a matter of waiting for it to re-occur so I can report it once again.
