An advisor said " watch this space! " when she couldn't help with my query, are there actually any plans to implement parental controls in the future, or was i being placated?

Hi,

Not sure if your aware of the Connect App features. If so my apologies.

ie

"When you first set up your router, you’ll also be prompted to set up your content controls in My Vodafone. To do this, you’ll need to log in using your username and password, which should have been emailed to you.

Choose your broadband service, and then go to content controls to set up and manage these controls. If you have problems setting up your content controls, call us on 08080 034515 (free from mobiles and landlines) from Monday to Sunday 8am-9pm"

From Here.

Thanks for your reply, BoB. I should have been more specific, i was thinking more of timer control of individual devices, e.g. Allowing usage of an Xbox One between 9am and 8pm, etc. Like on the BT home hub. Even the family network on the vodafone router seems to only have a blanket time, e.g 2,4,6 hours. And i couldn't see how to add individual cevices to it.

i did speak to an online adviser but to be honest my dog has more clue, she was guessing and not very competent.

You're welcome.  :Smiling:

Yes I understand what your wanting.

It's a feature I've used on my Bt Home Hubs in the past when my children were teenagers.
