S5 wont boot, recovery doesn't work

I'm posting on behalf of my mother who's S5 randomly shut itself off whilst watching a youtube video, I'm very technically minded and have tried everything without breaking the warranty.

Phone doesnt boot into recovery mode (Volume up + home + power button)

Phone goes into download mode (Volume Down + home + power button)

Whilst trying recovery mode i see a flash of red text on screen for half a second, cant make out what it says.

I wont attempt any sort of ROM flashing because the device is still under warranty.

Samsung Kies does not connect the device, but odin see's it on COM 3.

Knox warranty is still at 0x0.

My suspicion is that the phone has had a eMMC chip failure/Corrupt NAND.

What can i do to get the phone replaced? after all it is a manufacture fault and is still within warranty. The device is in A+ condition.

I think your only recourse is to go down the repair route.  You can either go to Vodafone or Samsung for that.
