How to set a ringtone for SMS messaging in Smart Ultra 7?

Thanks, I tried the version for 7 it works but it leaves a message wanting you to change it back to messenger within text SMS screen. But it does work 🙂

thanks for your help, going on from this question, how do I add a ringtone for individual contacts, if possilbe? I get the feeling its not possible?

I've a feeling a similar question has been asked before.

If this option is not available in the Contacts App when you choose a contact and edit it and no ringtone section is showing then it's not possible. 

I'm not sure if any alternative app from the plsystore could help.

Hi @jonesnewton

You can't set a ringtone as such for an SMS message.

If you go into your message settings scroll down and click on  notification sound you will be able to see all the SMS notifications preloaded to the phone and select the SMS notification.
