SS V1 not working with new BT HH 5

Since I installed a new BT home hub 5 my SS has stopped working – This means everyone in my family is now without a Vodafone mobile signal at home (a month now!).

I have done the port forwarding thing and also done a tracert, which pings as far as Vodafone’s servers in Germany (I have checked)

Cables and power supplies are fine, SS is registered and I have reset many times.

Please help!

@jbf49

Can you tell us exactly what light sequence you’re getting?

Hi Wayne,

At the moment it's top two - solid green

At various times of the day, if flashed light 2 and sometime light 4 (the tick)

It never lights or flashes the third 3g light.

Cheers

John

Wayne,

An update - at 20.09

Top two lights solid green, with bottom (tick) flashing green now.

@jbf49 - It seems that the Vodafone Sure Signal is trying to connect to the network.

We can see that the Vodafone Sure Signal is currently not registered, please register this and reset the device.

Let us how you get on.
