Samsung s6 edge auto rotate

Hi folks I have the s6 edge and have had it since release date but my other half uses it but today I thought I would have look see how it was working we tried the camera and looked great but all the menus were in portrait and would not move to landscape I even tried the calculater and this was the same I have since looked on the Web and I am not alone I am currently on holiday and will not be in the UK for 3 weeks but wondered is there a fix or do I need a new device?

You sure you have rotate turned on? The top slide menu press edit to get all options make sure you have rotate turned on. Mine works fine.

Yeah its on and I even dialled mmi code to check the sensor and it's stuck in one position

I've had a look online and this does appear to be an issue on some models.

If the phone is less than 14 days old, please call 191 to arrange an exchange.

If it's outside the exchange period, see how to arrange a repair. Alternatively you can contact the manufacturer directly.

I'm having the same issue.  When you say you dialled the mmi what did you do?

As this is a fault with the phone, it will need to be sent off to be repaired.

Alternatively, you can contact the manufacturer directly.
